  1. Avoid lifting heavy weights: If you are already suffering from cervical pain then you should avoid lifting heavy weights because it can trigger your pain. Avoid bending and jerking while lifting something. Use light bags.
  2. Keep yourself hydrated: Drinking plenty of water will help in maintaining the disk height and spinal alignment so that they can act properly as shock absorbers. It will also prevent further degeneration of cervical disks.
