Dr. APJ Kalam is India’s 11th President, was one of India’s most eminent scientists, and had the unique honour of receiving honorary doctorates from 30 universities and institutions. Lots of person know him as a Missile Man.
About Dr. Kalam
1) Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam born on 15 October 1931 Rameswaram, Ramanathapuram District, British India.
2) Died on 27 July 2015 (aged 83) Shillong, Meghalaya, India.
3) Kalam was the 11th President of India (2002-2007).
4) He got Bharat Ratna in 1997, the Padma Vibhushan in 1990 and the Padma Bhushan in 1981.
5) Support India’s missile programme, including Agni and Prithvi.
6) Between 1992 and 1999. He was Chief Scientific Advisor to the Prime Minister and Secretary of the DRDO.
